We already own a Mazda 3 and it has been a good car for us for five years, so I figured the Mazda 3 hatchback would be great for me. Russ talked me into getting an automatic versus manual, but it is probably wise since you never know (at our age) when one of us will have an injury (or surgery) and trying to use a clutch would be difficult. The new car is the same color as my Miata, so it made the transition a whole lot easier! :)
This picture was taken at Rusty Wallace Mazda in Morristown, TN. My brother, David, used to sell cars, so he did all the leg work for me and helped me to get a sweet deal on the trade-in of my car, rebates, etc. It made it worth the trip to TN to do the deal.
However, true to my luck, the next morning before heading to Cincinnati, the "run flat" warning came on. I drove it back to the dealership and was there for several hours while they figured out the problem. They had to change out one of the wheel sensors. Guess it wasn't meant for me to return home until later in the day! :) All is well with it now.
